We are pleased to announce that the Colorado State Field Championship will return to the Academy Archery Range in 2024!
This event will be two marked rounds of 12 targets, 3 arrows per target for a total of 72 arrows.
Be sure to familiarize yourself with Field Archery before signing up. Field Archery is often compared to golf as athletes shoot a course of targets, often in woods or around hills, at various size targets. The discipline requires the ability to shoot up- and downhill, and across slopes while judging distances. Learn more from World Archery.
At this time the US Air Force Academy requires a valid ID for you to drive onto the base. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. For additional details on entering the base, visit https://www.usafa.edu/visitors/getting-on-base/
The Academy Archery Club will provide two amazing courses and great field archery experience. Lunch will be available for purchase on site. We kindly request that you purchase lunch with your registration to assist the club in preparing for the event. More on the Academy Archery Club can be found on their website.
